Z562M (Z562M1)

Die Z562M (Alternativ: Z562M1, siehe unten) vom Hersteller WF aus der DDR ist eine Sonderzeichen-Nixie der 15.5mm-Kopffüßler-Reihe, der auch die Z560M angehört:

Sie ist eine Sonderzeichenröhre, die um 1970 im Werk für Fernsehelektronik in der DDR nur als Labormuster hergestellt wurde und nie in die reguläre Produktion überging; laut Datenblatt (siehe unten) dient sie der Darstellung von Koordinatensymbolen. Zur Serie dieser Spezialröhren gehören auch die Z562M2 sowie Z562M3. Im Datenblatt wir diese Röhre als Z562M1 geführt, jedoch ist dieses Exemplar eindeutig als Z562M gestempelt.

Interessanterweise lassen sich die beiden Symbolhalterungen ansteuern und zum Leuchten bringen, was sie wie einen Doppelpunkt aussehen lässt. Hier ist das Datenblatt der Z562M zu sehen, das diese als Labormuster ausweist:

Z562M (Z562M1)

The Z562M2 (alternative name: Z562M1) by the manufacturer WF (GDR) is a special symbol Nixie tube from the 15.5mm-front-view-series that also includes the better known Z560M:

The Z562M is a spacial symbol tube that has been developed by WF as a special lab sample around 1970, but it never made it into mass production. According to the German datasheet (see below) she was intended to display coordinate symbols. Other tubes from this special purpose series include the Z562M2 as well as the Z562M3. In the datasheet the tube is listed as a Z562M1, even though the specimen described here is clearly marked as a Z562M.

Interestingly the symbol support rods inside the Z562M can be illuminated as well, looking a lot like a colon symbol. Here you can see the datasheet of the Z562M (which lists her as Z562M1):
