DF-LS-10

Die DF-LS-10 ist in vielerlei Hinsicht eine vollkommen einzigartige Nixie. Sie ist eine der ersten, jemals professionell handgefertigten Nixies, und stammt aus der Werkstatt von Dalibor Farný. Ihr Aufbau knüpft stark an den der Z5680M an, der uneingefärbten Version der Z568M.

Der untere Bereich der DF-LS-10 ist noch etwas provisorisch und wenig platzsparend aufgebaut, da es sich bei der DF-LS-10 um ein Labormuster handelt. Der innere Aufbau des Anodenkäfigs ist jedoch schon von beeindruckender Perfektion.

Das zusätzliche Glasröhrchen, das am Pumpstutzen befestig ist, hat nur ästhetische Zwecke; das liegt daran, dass Farný die DF-LS-10 für einen Wettbewerb konstruierte; hier ist die finale Version der DF-LS-10 mit flacher Kuppel im eingebauten Zustand zu sehen:

DF-LS-10

The DF-LS-10 is in many aspects a completely unique Nixie tube. She is one of the first professionally handmade Nixie tubes ever, and has been constructed by Dalibor Farný. She closely resembles the Z5680M, the uncoloured version of the Z568M.

The lower section of the DF-LS-10 is not yet fully streamlined and looks a little bit unconventional since the DF-LS-10 is a lab sample. The anode cage, however, is already of remarkable perfection.

The additional glass tube connected to the vacuum seal is only of aesthetic importance - this is due to the fact that Farný constructed the DF-LS-10 for a competition; here you can see the final version of the DF-LS-10 with flattened dome mounted in a clock:
